Online Class Update...

September 13 Sketch Challenge!

Good morning all!

Yes September is here! What about a sketch challenge this month? Our very talented Julie Hill has created an amazing sketch for you to play with this month! Here it is:

 

"Use this sketch as inspiration,

 you must also include a heart and a butterfly"

             
Rules: After you have created a LO/card for the challenge please upload it to your blog, online gallery or Facebook page then link and add your info into the correct Mister Linky on the right hand side of our BLOG.
Once you have done that just pop over to the SO FaceBook page and let us know you have entered our challenge - you can then link back to your own blog or FB page as well so we can all go and check out your creation.
Out of courtesy, please link your challenge entries back to the Scrapping Outback BLOG challenge or be sure to give credit to the Scrapping Outback challenge and if there is a sketch to follow please give credit to the sketch artist as well.

Here is Julie's stunnig example:


Julie used Imaginarium Chipboard and WOW chicken wire chipboard Prima and DA Flowers..Julie added texture to her LO by using Texture paste,plasters tape, feathers and swirls of Glossy Accents she also used Glimmer mist and paint to add the colour.

Here is Sandrine's Beautiful example:
 "Magic"
 
 Sandrine used Imaginarium Chipboard, 7 Dots Studio "Love is in the Air" paper, Prima Flowers, We Are Memory Keepers Twine and Tattered Angels Glimmermist.
To create her background heart, Sandrine printed out an 8" heart in Publisher, cut it out and used it as a mask while spraying various inks, she drew the outline of the heart using watercolour paintbrush dipped in blue glimmermist. Products available here.

And Tina's gorgeous example:


And Tina's Tip: Layer laces and washi tape to add texture and interest. Change the colour of embellishments by using inks or mists".
Tina used Scrapping Outback's 7 Dots Studio paper, A2Z chippy, and Prima & Manor House flowers.
 

This sketch is absolutely fabulous and open to many interpretations, the SO Team can't wait what you come up with!

  1. Ok, I have finished fighting with the computer and finally got my layout up. Computers do my head in. Maybe I just need another cuppa. Had lot's of fun doing this page. Kinda changed Julie's sketch to suit. But loved the butterflies and hearts part. Thanks for the inspiration.
