Online Class Update...

Welcome to our November "White with a Twist" Halloween inspired Challenge....
(You don't have to use a Halloween theme - it just seemed appropriate
for this time of the year)
So the challenge is to use ALL the colours(or shades of the colours) in this photo prompt:
Purple, Lime/yellow and black

Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in this photo and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard. (as Scrapping Outback is known for all its chipboard)

You must use WHITE combined with the colours above. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper. There can be other colours on the printed paper, but not too much to take away from the colours in the inspiration picture.

You can use anything to create these colours like mists, inks or paints.

You can use a small amount of black/brown just for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just as a small accessory, however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout UNLESS it is a main colour in the inspiration photo.

You can use as little or a lot of each colour, but EVERY colour or similar shade of that colour in the picture MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours - it depends on the inspiration that you get from the picture.

Create a layout following the above criteria, then follow the instructions below....

After you have created a LO for the challenge please upload it to your blog, online gallery or Facebook page -  make sure you mention us and link back to our blog challenge.  Then add your DIRECT challenge link to us using the Mister Linky on the right hand side of our BLOG.

Once you have done that and if you are on facebook, just pop over to the SO FaceBook page and let us know you have entered our challenge - you can then link back to your own blog or FB page as well so we can all go and check out your creation.

Out of courtesy, please link your challenge entries back to the Scrapping Outback BLOG challenge or be sure to give credit to the Scrapping Outback challenge and if there is a sketch to follow please give credit to the sketch artist as well.

Please use your creation for our challenge only - if you choose to use it for other challenges as well, you will not be eligible  for the Scrapping Outback prize...

If you are winner be sure to grab your Challenge Winners Blinkie to add to your blog.

Thank you and Good luck!!

Karen McLaughlin has created this stunning layout - Karen's colours look a bit different to the image provided due to the fact that it showed up on her computer with different colours.

And a couple of close ups so you can see the details

 Suppies used:
WOW 6x4 Mixed Circles
WOW Just the way you are
Dusty Attic Word Tags #1
Karen's Tip:
If you would like to cover your chipboard with paper or fabric, you can stick it right on to wet gesso. Gesso works really well as a glue and is more permanent than any of the glue sticks or bottled glue you can buy.
Lastly we have a Halloween inspired sample by Rachelle Minett.
Some close ups:

Products used:
Dusty Attic Mixed Halloween chipboard pack
Chipboard Owl
Scrap FX - Halloween title
Lindy's stamp gang Mists - Drop dead Diva Set
Lindy's stamp gang - Toto Tornado Black mist
Prima - Brick background stamp
Kaiser Craft - Black flower
Prima - flowers
Kindy Glitz
Black ink
Rachelle's Tip:  Spray mist onto plastic sheet first, spray lightly with water, then place cardstock on top to transfer the colour from the plastic to the cardstock

We hope that this has inspired you all to create a layout using our colour challenge image this month :)
Happy Scrapping everyone :)
