We have decided to bring back the "WHITE WITH A TWIST" Challenge for a little while - just for something a little different....
So welcome to our August Challenge everyone!
This month we want you to use White combined with the colours in these cocktails, hence the name "White with a TWIST"
So the challenge is:
Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in these cocktails and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard.
You must use WHITE combined with the colours above. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper. There can be other colours on the printed paper, but not too much to take away from the colours in the inspiration picture.
You can use anything to create these colours like mists, inks or paints.
You can use a small amount of black/brown just for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just as a small accessory, however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout.
You can use as little or alot of each colour, but every colour or shade of that colour in the picture MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours - it depends on the inspiration that you get from the picture.

you have created a LO for the challenge please upload it to your blog,
online gallery or Facebook page -
make sure you mention us and link back to our blog challenge. Then add your challenge link to us using the correct Mister Linky on the right hand side of our BLOG.

Once you have done that just pop over to the SO FaceBook page and
let us know you have entered our challenge - you can then link back to

First up, we have Karen McLaughins very first Challenge sample for us....... I am sure you would agree that she has done an amazing job. Karen has created her layout using printed paper and flowers as her source of colour inspiration...
Tip: The Prima Resin Icons (Key and Lock) and The Dusty Attic French Window were first covered in gesso and then I rubbed in pink, green and yellow inka gold.
I have also used the Prima Paper Clip #57319 - Typewriter Keys. The paper is Manor House from the Beautiful You - Fresh and New and Beautiful You - In My Thoughts. and the flowers are Prima from the Time Traveller - Time is Up Flowers. Also on the page is the little Chipboard Love You Heart - Mini. All these products can be bought at Scrapping Outback.
Now we would like to introduce Cynthia Llorens, our next NEW Design Team member from Brazil. Cynthia has created this absolutely stunning layout using products from her own stash as she doesn't have her supplies from
Scrapping Outback yet :)
Now introducing Marie Mazz Cairns with her first blog challenge sample for us..... Marie has used white cardstock with loads of mediums, mists and a little patterned paper for her colour inspiration.
Tip: If you dont have the right coloured frame or chipboard - simply paint with White Gesso and colour
it to what ever you need.
If you are are running low on texture paste - try adding a little white paint to make it go a little further.

TIP: If you don't have the right coloured flowers, then simply use plain white flowers and spray them with mists to
suit your layout.
